Greetings and Salutations,
I hope that you'll indulge us as we break the fourth wall here for a moment. Game Misconduct is a part of the Icehouse Hockey League universe. The IHHL is a made up of a gathering of friends who have played fantasy hockey together since the 2013 hockey lockout. Derek Heilman and Scott Hall, not satisfied with just playing the game have gone on to develop an entire fantasy/alternate universe where the league is a real living and breathing entity.
Derek focuses mainly on the graphic design elements while Scott works on developing the content and story lines. During the Fantasy League Season, weekly recaps, overarching story lines, and the like will be posted here. During the off season, we will generate content in the form of "This week in history", wrapping up season story lines, and laying the foundation for new stories.
For the past 5 years I've been creating everything from logos and brands to websites and magazines for businesses and can't imagine doing anything else (except maybe being a astronaut or dinosaur wrangler). You can find out more about my projects at http://www.derekheilmann.com
In my job with Association Management Group (AMG), an Association Management Company, I oversee the technology infrastructure for AMG; in addition to working closely with client teams and key stakeholders to guide, strategize, and implement solutions. Recently I have worked with team members to mine data for trends (database and Web site statistics), migrated systems to the "cloud" and more.
Boring details on past lives and projects, not detailed out here, are found on my LinkedIn profile.
For the Game Misconduct Site, I am busy experimenting with the blogger platform, running Google Analytic Campaigns, custom reports, Monitoring service up-time, and all sorts of other fun stuff.
For site Web site traffic, SEO reports, etc, we have set up accounts with:
For the monitoring of the site, we use Monitis. You can try out a free version of Monitis at monior.us if you are so interested. To check out the health of the Game Misconduct site head on over here.
