Greetings and Salutations Icehouse Hockey League Fans!
The leaves are changing, the temps are becoming more brisk, and the IHHL is preparing to open up for the 2014/215 IHHL Season in 10 days. The offseason has been a busy one for the IHHL. Two new owners have joined the league; Jason Hawthorne Petty, proud owner of the Harpswell Mayors, formerly the Richmond Prexies. Taking over Team Moran is Dan Hall; the team was moved to Las Vegas and renamed the Ballers.
In addition to the change in ownership and movement of those teams, the Barrel Riders of Buffalo moved to San Jose and changed their name to the Soviet Bears, following a falling out between the Buffalo City Council and team owner Scott J. Hall.
With the changes of summer behind them, the IHHL focused on its fall for the 2014 season. The draft, held on September 25, 2014, saw the Cleveland Blackjacks winning the lottery for the first draft pick of the 2014 Season. Here is the IHHL 2014 Draft order with links to each team's picks:
