In this League, we have our fun. We rib each other and exchange heated
words over the course of weeks of play, but at the core of it all, we
are all drawn here out of a sense of love and fun for the sport. It is
this commonly shared passion that helps us all to connect and form
relationships.
I’d like to take a moment here, step outside of my role as acting commissioner, and congratulate Derek on the launch of the IHHL web site: http://www.ihhl.net. I know that he labored long and hard on this and I think I speak for all of us when I say, we really appreciate the care and love he put into this project.
Oh and evidently Derek’s wife gave birth to their lovely daughter, Zelda Lillian Heilmann, at about 2 am this morning. Amy and Zelda are doing well and Derek has not been killed yet.
