We here at Game Misconduct would like to apologize to our readers for our 2 week absence. Things at the GM offices have been in flux as the site’s owners have been dragged into a legal battle with an IHHL owner over comments made in a previous article. Never the less, we are here now and will continue to report on the IHHL.
Week 4 has come and gone and the cream has started to rise to the top. the IHHL now only has a single unbeaten team along with only a single team that has yet to win a game.
Milwaukee Monarchs at Seattle Wolves
The Monarchs continue their freefall after rookie centerman Connor Mcdavid went down with a broken clavicle early in the week. The Wolves, eager to capitalize on the Moanrch’s mifortune, pressed hard managing to lead for the entire week. Milwaukee, to their credit, managed to keep the affair close up until the end but ultimately could not pull out a win. Owner Derek Heilmann was overheard screaming at his players in the locker room after the defeat. Final Score: Seattle- 123.15 to Milwaukee-111.90
San Jose Soviet Bears at Denver Demon Donkeys
The clash of the unbeatens was sure to give us a thrill this week but no one expected the Demon Donkeys to post a 57 point win over the Soviet Bears. The Donkeys took a commanding lead at the beginning of the week and never looked back. The Soviet Bears, without their veteran Pavel Datsyuk, may be showing a few cracks in their foundation and are only 1 game up on the Seattle Wolves in the Dunlop Conference. Final Score: Denver-179 to San Jose-131.60
Boston Benders at Washington Winter Warriors
The battle for the top spot in the Conway Conference is heating up as the Boston Benders took on the Washington Winter Warriors in the nation’s capital this week. The Benders were slow out of the gate and never managed to pull even with the Winter Warriors who destroyed the record for margin of victory set 2 weeks ago by the Demon Donkeys with a whopping 60 points. Age may be starting to show on the Benders roster as Logan Couture and Aleksander Barkov both continue on the IR. While Benders owner Ms. Waters bristled at Game Misconduct’s post draft analysis of her team’s age, it appears she may need to start looking for younger talent to replace her aging veterans.

Las Vegas Ballas at Cleveland Blackjacks
After last week’s defeat at the hands of the Monarchs, the Cleveland Blackjacks bounced back with an impressive win over the Las Vegas Ballas. After a rough start to the week, Blackjacks owner Andy Cordova sat down with captain Sidney Crosby who has been in a rut since the start of the season. That talk sparked Crosby who came away with a goal and 2 assists for the week. Meanwhile, the Ballas, who are plagued with injuries, couldn’t muster enough to compete with the Blackjacks. This issue seems to come down to poor goaltending, as Pekka Rinne posted abysmal numbers for the Ballas. Final Score: Cleveland - 147.44 to Las Vegas - 113.40
Saskatoon Sasquatches at Harpswell Mayors
In a mirror of the San Jose Denver game, the Sasquatches and Mayors faced off this week as the final two teams who had not yet won a game. The Mayors were able to keep the score close until the end of the week when the Sasquatches posted a 43 point night, sealing the victory. Final Score: Saskatoon - 114.45 to Harpswell - 95.5
